Genuine Instant Pot Non Stick Interior Review

One problem with the stainless steel inner bowl that comes with the Instant Pot is that things get stuck to it. I bought a ceramic pot because it promised to reduce this problem. Yes, sort of, at least compared to a stainless steel pan. But the rice still sticks to it. (I've used a Japanese rice cooker for years and was able to just rinse it out without sticking.) Bottom line: This pan is an improvement in some ways, but it's not really non-stick.

Had to wait for this pot due to a backorder but it was worth it. Some of the pasta I make in my Instant Pot tends to burn on the bottom of the stainless steel pot that comes with the IP. If I reduce the time too much, the noodles may not cook the way I like. While other things feel great in a stainless steel pan, this type of cookware was a challenge to clean the pan until I used a non-stick pan for this. It works great and I no longer have cleaning problems. Very happy with this purchase.

We use our Instant Pot almost every day, so we had to keep postponing dinner while we cleaned the other liner. Wait - no more. If you use the Instant Pot frequently, I can't recommend more than a second liner. This one is different from the one that came with the potty and makes life a thousand times easier. Easy to clean, very nice ceramic coating. Fits perfectly and is a great price for a second pot. I like to have it with the lid so I can cook something the night before, put the lid on and pop into the instant pot for dinner the next morning when I get home in the evening. After reading the reviews on this product I was a little hesitant to buy. I shouldn't have been so worried! It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy to me. This is a really good pot and the price is right for me. It works well, doesn't have the slightest bit of stickiness like stainless steel (which has its place and I use it regularly).
