My son loves it based on my review.

I bought these for my son as he only wears camouflage shorts or basketball shorts. I needed something more elegant when we go to parties. I was glad he liked it and asked him to wear it. Now he wears it to school.

Pros
  • Great shorts for our 6 year old son's school uniform.
Cons
  • Non-Adjustable Waistband: The waistband of these shorts is non-adjustable, which can be uncomfortable for parents who need to adjust the fit as their child grows.

Fits great. My review

These are beautiful shorts. They are short and the label says they can be used as a school uniform. It's not a silly school uniform like some people have. It fits exactly as you would expect for a size 12 and has an adjustable waistband. Loved these and they seem to be of good quality.

Pros
  • The quality was ok but the shorts were small for a 7. I had to return as they were a bit tight.
Cons
  • The fabric feels like sandpaper. My son doesn't wear them. upset.

They fitted the waist perfectly, but they had...

They fitted perfectly at the waist but had to be hemmed because they fell well below the knee. I assumed this would take place. My 10 year old is not quite 5ft tall and weighs 118lbs.

Pros
  • Perfect fit for my slim figure 11 years old
Cons
  • Waist about 3 sizes too small

Best of my test

Last year I bought dark blue shorts from Dickies, French Toast, Old Navy and Genuine. After a full year of socks and weekly washings, the Genuine Shorts held their color far better than the others (Dickies came second, French Toast and Old Navy were terrible). Although the fabric and stitching appear rough they have held up very well and are still in good condition to be worn for another year. Think of them as work pants - not soft or stylish, but made to last. This is the only brand of shorts…

Pros
  • Shorts
Cons
  • No performance

They are well priced but there are other brands that are similar.

Can't believe these shorts get more than 4.5 stars. I didn't even force my son to try them on. They're so tough, I think they could stand up on their own. They are well priced but there are other brands that are similar in price but much softer. I'm sure they won't wrinkle after washing, but sacrificing comfort isn't worth it. They have an adjustable waist and velcro instead of a button. I have compared them to some other brands and they are the same size as hers.

Pros
  • Boys
Cons
  • No gun

DO NOT IRON! THEY NEVER GET WRINKLES!

I bought these for my 7 year old son for school. They fit him great! He is 4 feet tall and weighs 52 pounds. I had to adjust the waist slightly, but they were perfect in length (reached just above the knees). What I love about these shorts is that they don't need to be ironed! I wash them on Fridays every week and after taking them out of the dryer they don't wrinkle at all! HOORAY! Last year, the shorts he wore to school had to be ironed every week because they wrinkled so much after washing…

Pros
  • clothes, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • boring packaging
