I was very excited about this dress! I own a dress from previous season and always get compliments on it! This one is a miss for me. Fabric looks and feels like bedsheets , maybe if pressed it will look ok but fit is awful on me so there is nothing I like about this dress. It is a shame since I love the designer and it would be super fun to own one of her dresses , but this is just not the one I am willing to pay 200$ for . When I saw this come down the runway on the show, I was praying the designer would win so I would have a chance to buy this dress! What a relief! I purchased it right after and received it today. This is a gorgeous dress. I was super excited to get it.When it arrived I was shocked at how heavy the package was. It’s a lot of weight. I tried it on and although I measured all my correct sizes accurately, I ordered a small and it was still too big. There is at least 3” too much in the waist. It felt like I was wearing 10 pounds of material. Since it’s open backed and flutter sleeves, you need to wear this in the summer, but my god, you would roast in all that heavy fabric.I would love to…

Me and my husband renewed our wedding vows in Paris and this dress was amazing! We walked the streets of Paris and everyone were just complimenting me of how gorgeous the dress. It also photographed very well. I wore a size XS. This dress has some weight on it so packing on on this destination wedding took a lot of space but it’s all worth it! I bought the black too and wore it to watch at Moulin Rouge.

I went to school for design and this dress was an anniversary gift from my husband . I LOVE this dress ! The fit is perfect . It’s so well made . It’s the most gorgeous dress you could ever hope to buy for $200. I haven’t felt this fabulous since my wedding. It is A-LOT of dress . I fell in love with this dress when it premiered on the runway of Making the Cut season 3 episode 1. I can sew my own clothing (nothing on this level), so I know how to take my measurements, and I ordered what I thought I was based on size chart.a 3XL. Nope. Got it in, and I was swimming in it. Sent it back for the smaller 2XL. Nope. Still too big. Swapped yet again for the XXL and it FITS LIKE A GLOVE! The material feels great, and best of all.IT HAS POCKETS! Like fit your whole hands pockets!

Material: I love sateen and sew all of my casual garments out of it, because it is a quality shirting cotton that holds its shape. I'm debating if I'll order it again on XXS. I'm normally a S to M top size and I ordered an S thinking it would be a little tight as I'm looking to lose some weight before I wear it. It was huge! It fit like and L if not an XL. I returned it and in still debating if I should order the XXS because given how the S fit, the XS would fit like an M.

The first thing I love about this dress is how much fabric is in it. You can't see that from the Ebay photo, but you can see it in mine. The dress is heavy - like a ballgown or wedding dress weight to it. You can see how much fabric is used. It's almost like a dancing skirt-cape. I ordered a medium and had the waist taken in. Other than that, the dress is ready to wear! Ruffles make wearer look larger than they are.

This dress was heavy cotton fabric, like duvet cover fabric. Or canvas. It was a voluminous dress. Very well-made! It's as if it was tailored to my body. But it was too much fabric and it wore me out just getting it on and trying to walk a few feet in it. I returned it. I loved it, but I returned it.

Wore this dress for Diner en Blanc and it was perfect. It’s a lot of fabric but still worth it. Definitely have to set ahead time to steam it before wearing. I ordered an extra large but could have sized down to a large.

The dress is well made very heavy. I was very happy to see that the dress came out of the packaging as expected. the sleeves were like butterflies. I'm so glad the way it was crafted that the wings stands up. Beware it is heavy- in terms of traveling. The cleavage is very deep but very sexy if that's your thing.I decided to add lace to close it up a bit.

One of the most important parts of this dress was the empowering belt. yet it disappeared. definitely not the same winning dress without the belt.
