Close inspection shows this "4 Spray Pattern” FANHAO pistol -grip hose nozzle shows it to be made of metal from inlet to the nozzle end. The bottom garden hose thread is cleanly made and smooth, but it’s not brass, so over time it may develop some galvanic corrosion if used with a brass hose end. First use, using at 20 psi or less and it started leaking at the "on off” lever on the nozzle within a few minutes.Also makes an annoying high sequel when using at low pressure.Waste of money.Very disappointed.

I've been through more water nozzles that I care to remember and it is difficult to find one that holds up. So far, so good for this one although it is early in the season so time will tell. The construction feels solid and it is comfortable in the hand. There are six spray options and it is easy to adjust. I like the on/off switch that is easy to push with your thumb. It does seem rather expensive for a nozzle but if it holds up and doesn't leak, it is worth the extra money.

Loved this spray head at first. After about a month of use the head started to leak. Not on every setting, but it now leaks on about 1/4 of the settings. Won't buy this again. :(

This nozzle is superior in sturdiness to any nozzle I have ever had before; however, it is completely useless to me. The shower spray that I use the most for my potted plants sprays only from the peripheral holes. All water is directed through the tiny outer holes so you get a very strong spray in a circle and nothing in the middle. On my first use it was obvious that this is the best nozzle that I’ve had in years. The thumb control turns the water on and off and controls pressure. It’s easy to use. It seems to put out more pressure than most nozzles and is quite adjustable.

I wanted metal for durability, but it is heavier to hold. Not the seller's fault. Maybe the Chinese have a different definition of 100% metal, but this sprayer isn't 100% metal. The round face that the water sprays through is plastic and the handle is coated with rubber (my old fashioned brass sprayer is 100% metal). It is sturdy, heavy and feels like a quality product. I have used it daily for 6 weeks (mostly cleaning and filling duck, chicken and peafowl bowls, tubs, etc.) and hopefully it will last. My biggest complaint is the "shower" selection shoots the water out too…

I didn't think that I'd like this nozzle as much as I do but it's awesome! Every other nozzle I've used has been the standard squeeze type.This one has a nice smooth thumb switch valve that makes adjusting pressure super easy. You can change the water shape from stream to spray and anything in between by twisting the front of the nozzle. So far so good, this is a very sturdy product, very easy to turn on and off. Changing the water flow setting is also easy. It is a solid hose nozzle, not like those plastic wanna b's. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I bought two earlier this year to replace old hose nozzles gone feral over the winter. They worked well all summer. They have a little rubber nubbin to cushion your thumb on the valve where you turn it on and off. On one of the nozzles, the little rubber nubbin is no more, so you kinda need to use two thumbs. Otherwise still works fine. Might last all next summer too. Would buy again.

Absolutely the best nozzle I've ever used. The machined parts used in the manufacture of this are phenomenal in quality and build. When attached to the hose, there is NO leakage of water when the lever is flipped to the off position . I am fortunate to have a really good water pressure at my house, and other nozzles had leakage when they were "off".
