If you know how to knit, purl, add and subtract, but nothing else (like me), give this book a try. I can't believe I'm knitting in a fan pattern. I played with the lace pattern and got a little better with each try. This book is perfect for me. I can take basic knitting skills and turn them into something beautiful.
