I feel completely taken advantage of with this order. I was willing to pay extra for a large, sturdy metal mailbox, but it arrived with the box already open and dented and scratched. It's clearly being used. It is most likely a return. For the price the metal is thinner than I expected but it will work.

We got this to replace our old mailbox, the door wouldn't stay closed and we couldn't find a mailbox the same size as our old one. This was the closest and it works. I wish it had come with screws but we had to use the old ones because there weren't any. Things to consider when ordering this as your first mailbox.

Without a large box to receive packages, my postwoman has to drive down my dirt road to deliver packages. This big box allows her to load 80-90% of the packages I receive without having to drive to my house. Strong, large, white (less FL baking content) and strong locking system. The aluminum construction is a ++ as it should last a very long time in FL humidity.

The mailbox is large, white and attractive. Shame on me! It looked so nice I didn't even read the reviews. The first one I received was badly damaged in transit. The box didn't look badly damaged but the mailbox damage was amazing! Given the many reports of damage, you'd think the manufacturer would ship it in more protective packaging. Got a replacement the next day.

Fragile, thin construction. If I hadn't thrown away the box before installing this mailbox I would have sent it back. When I received it the flag was bent so I straightened it but after 2 days I noticed the entire mailbox was crooked making the door difficult to close. The box it was sent in was intact so it's not the carrier's fault, it's just a piece of crappy post box that was pawned on me.

Very nice, well made mailbox. Also the thickness of the metal and the powder coated colour/texture are attractive compared to the usual "glossy black" mailboxes. This box was BIG! Too large. 23 inches long; I hope you live on a farm or plan to ship a lot of packages every day. The box was classified as "large" but is significantly larger than many other "large" mailboxes. Width/height are perfect. , but again this box dangles from a normal sized mailbox due to its length.

Was glad to find a US made mailbox but was disappointed to find how unreliable it was. The aluminum is very thin (one corner is already bent, it hasn't been unpacked) and the rivets that hold the various parts together are cheap and poorly fastened. The latch/closing mechanism parts do not even touch as shown in the photos and the top is loose and wobbly causing the door to not close securely. Overall I'm not impressed. I recommend you continue your search elsewhere.
