Compatible with PS5 and PC games

This MVME drive represents the latest storage technology and is one of the best products on the market today. I've tested it on both my gaming PC and PS5 and am currently using it on my PS5. The device has excellent speed and looks solid. NVME is generally not the easiest to install, but it doesn't introduce any additional difficulties. However, I advise you to watch videos online before installing.

Pros
  • Seq. Write speed: up to 5500 MB/s
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Fantastic product for computers and accessories

Great product that works great on my PlayStation 5. Meets the specs perfectly and read/write is as good if not better than the PlayStation 5.

Pros
  • Seq. Read speed: up to 7000 MB/s
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Fast, powerful, durable workhorse SSD

For charts, nothing beats a good, quality SSD to get the job done quickly. This SSD has pretty much everything you need for serious, heavy, non-stop storage-based computing. It's fast - PCI-e 4.0 with up to 7000 MB/s sequence. Read, 6850 MB/s, last recorded without throttling Right size - 2 TB means enough space for RAM. Durability - 2GB DDR4 cache, 1400TBW outperforms most competitors.

Pros
  • Supports AES-256 encryption
Cons
  • For old

Excellent expansion drive for PS5

Recently jumped into the PlayStation Beta for PS5, which allows you to expand the internal storage. There are very, very specific requirements for drives that physically fit in the system space (a heatsink is also required), in addition to very specific speed and generation specifications to get a drive that can compete with Sony's internal SSD. It really does that trick and then something else - the write speed is very fast and the sudden increase in my PS5's internal storage from 600GB to…

Pros
  • Next-gen AORUS PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

Fits PS5: Storage

Easy install on PS5, perfect fit. The PS5 has a spacer screw. Add the SSD, then insert the spacer into the hole at the end of the SSD and tighten the screw. Speed shown on PS5 is 6555, not 7000.

Pros
  • Form factor M.2 2280
Cons
  • Good overall but...

Super fast, even without updating the SSD firmware.

Super fast! A firmware update is available for this SSD on the manufacturer's website, Gigabyte.com, which is said to further optimize console performance, but I haven't updated it. Without this update, my PS5 measured the read performance of the 1TB SSD model at over 6500Mbps, which is still 20% faster than the PS5's built-in 5500Mbps SSD, so I probably won't be To update.

Pros
  • Interface: PCI-Express 4.0 x4, NVMe 1.4
Cons
  • No form required

Best PCI4 7Gb/s Solid State Drive. Sure

Just buy this 2TB SSD and look no further. Using/testing multiple PCI4 SSDs on my system found the following: 1. Easiest to install as it comes pre-assembled with a heatsink2. At its steepest, idling 31C with an ambient temperature of 20C3. Fastest in the comparative test of read (7400), write (6850), and random IOPS (435,000 read, 380,000 write). For this, Samsung's Magician test was used as it was easy to perform and was intended to be an apples-to-apples comparison. Best value is $380 for…

Pros
  • Capacity: 1TB
Cons
  • Vulgarity
