Toggle switch works great on my little midi controller. I use them to toggle various effects on and off. They can withstand some abuse and re-solder well without melting or affecting performance. Please note the washer has a small tab to prevent movement. So if you are installing on a hard surface, be sure to bend the tab!

I have used these switches in some of my projects and they are the best switches I have used so far. They look retro and are very durable. They are large enough that I can operate them in the dark (which is what I needed for the project). These switches come with screws and washers so they can be securely attached to project enclosures.
