I have been using Gila products for many years. Bought this item to tint my car windows. The paint began to crack when the sticky sticker holding the roll closed was removed. Even with abundant spraying and gentle movements, the shade easily cracks. I ended up removing it and replacing it with another brand.

Bought 5% tint for some glass doors. Good film quality. I've been tinting for years and it's no different than what you get at a tinting shop. Please note that tinting looks easy, but it is not. If you are a beginner, watch the video to understand how film works, how to apply it and how to cut it. All in all this is a good product at a very good price.

3 things: 5% is easy to see through. If you double the 5%, you can still see through it, but it's approaching zero. The only positive thing about this product is that it goes away without a trace. I'm a DIYer who never gave up, this time I did it for the first time in my life. Due to the thinness of the material, a bubble-free installation is virtually impossible. It folds easily and if you flatten it again the glue will leave visible lines.
