Not long ago the rim started to melt. I don't use it for more than turning eggs and the occasional turning of a pan, but it doesn't last at all.

We've all had to replace our spatulas and this one has made a few top lists. After some trial and error, it's good, but not great. It's durable, well built, easy to clean. But we had trouble flipping eggs or pancakes with it and ended up going for a different style with a much larger head.

I've really had enough of the little scratches on non-stick pans from soft plastic spatulas that also melted. This spatula meets all my needs from burgers to omelettes. I haven't had any issues with the quality dropping after a few months of daily use and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is my favorite spatula I have ever used. It has the benefits of a hard spatula and flexible tip, but has hard side edges for breaking objects. I can use it the same way you would use a rubber spatula on the sides of a bowl. It can be kept in a very hot skillet or skillet, is incredibly easy to clean, and is literally the only spatula I now use for everyday cooking.

As other reviewers have pointed out, it's a bit thicker than regular plastic spatulas, but I can still use it to flip pancakes with no problem. It's a little more flexible than plastic spatulas, but I had no problem lifting chicken breasts or scraping meat out of the pan. I love that there are no cracks or seams for food and mold to get stuck in, and it doesn't melt even when used on high heat in a stainless steel pan! It cleans very easily even when I use it on eggs or something cheesey.
