I really like these heat mats. I can fine tune my heat preference just by turning the knob. And I can easily move them from one area to another, unlike self-adhesive ones.

Never came with any information. There was no tape or anything like that. Bad packaging too. Just in a plastic bag and nothing else. Otherwise the product works as expected.

This is perfect for my purpose of growing amaryllis bulbs indoors. I put it under my ceramic pot and it gently warmed it and the soil so combined with the LED light my bulb would flower in record time! I don't think it's big or warm enough to affect a much larger area than the 5W 5.5x6" mat I bought.

I have a small tank for my lizard and I wanted a heating element underneath to keep them warm when needed. Yours looked perfect when I saw it but when I got it yesterday. I didn't expect it to be so small. Doesn't even cover a third of the floor. I think I should have looked further and gotten a 10" x 20" pad. But the way you wrote it I thought it might be 9x10. I guess I'll know better next time, although I'm still a little frustrated as I'll have to wait longer for another one now.

Use this to ferment kombucha/beer and keep oyster mushrooms warm in the fridge. So far it's working fine with no problems. It smelled a bit like "hot new plastic" when I initially turned it on very strongly, but that faded with use. So far I'm happy with the $10 price tag, 7W heat dissipation, and power controller. As other reviews have mentioned, does not heat up. Buy it if you need a small temperature increase at minimal cost - that's why I need it. I chose it because it has a dial but no markers for increments, and it's fluid with no way to fix it. If you set 5-10 degrees, the dial is useless anyway. I turned it all the way down and it gave me the minimal increase I needed, so it worked for my purposes, but I guess it's not for most.
