Excellent press filler parts

This filler is fantastic. I don't understand why people have so many problems with their abs outdoors. 240°C for the extruder temperature and 110°C for the bed. If you have adhesion issues, print with a raft or borders and use a knife to trim them off when you're done. I am using Cura on a taz 5. When printing I use a Lulzbot Cura profile with high detail. It takes longer to print, but 3D printing is not a fast process when printed this way. I'm really looking forward to trying out the color…

Pros
  • Compatible with RepRap, Makerbot, Afinia, Solidoodle or any standard roll-to-roll 3D printer
Cons
  • Long delivery time

First ABS filament for my Ultimaker 2 Extended

This is the first ABS filament I've used, so I don't have any other basis for comparison other than PLA, that's not too fair is to compare it to, so I'll try not to do it. First, it's quite difficult to work with as it doesn't stick to the printing platform. If this is your first ABS filament, be prepared to also buy Kapton tape and use acetone juice to make a wand. Do a YouTube search and you will understand. Once you fix the ABS what I printed will be really tough. They are slightly flexible…

Pros
  • Filament roundness: +/- 0.07mm

Very reliable for my 3D print

As a retired engineer, I realized that I should always limit the number of changes/variables you make when evaluating/ what - something to test. Because 3D printing is relatively new, it's loaded with variables - printer, filament, settings, print. So what are you doing? I've used different brands of thread for the past year or two. I just ordered my third 3D printer. Sound crazy? Well, I remember many years ago when inkjet printers were coming of age. I think I ordered some to improve, so I…
