Good replacement for my Farberware 7 in 1 Electric Pressure Cooker. You can order two. I'm happy to replace them if they become discolored or take on a food smell.

I was surprised because they don't attach to the lid like my original. It sits well on the outer edge of the pot and seals well. I will say that it was the tabs that slide into the lid on the original that broke, so I think they will actually last longer without those tabs. Very easy to clean.

I didn't even realize how long it took my pressure cooker to reach max pressure. Then came steam. I've been riding for YEARS without changing rings; I haven't researched how often you should do this. This one fits perfectly. I get maximum pressure much faster. I was afraid I would have to buy a new one, but that was all it took.

This ring is perfect for my COLORWARE pressure cooker. I use this cooker almost every day and the pressure holds up even with long cooking times. This has been my favorite kitchen toy so far and I'm so glad it was an easy fix by replacing the ring and properly cleaning any other rubber and metal parts that are coming loose.

Because I'm sure everyone who has this pressure cooker smells the pad (used once with garlic and onions) and you CANNOT out regardless of what other people on the internet say as a solution. Now we have this pad that can be used when we don't cook with hot spices, and when we do we use the old one. In any case, you always need a spare in case it gets cut or deformed during pressure cooking. Necessary!

This O-ring is disappointing. I bought this for my Faberware 6 liter pressure cooker and only recently used it for the first time. In fact, it took me forever to build up the pressure, much longer than the original. I thought I didn't back it up properly so I tried again. This time the time pressure didn't increase again, but this time there was a lot of condensation on the tip and around the hole as the timer ticked down. My liquid evaporated and my food burned.
