This is a good option for those looking for a reasonably well made S&P that doesn't have too many stains and has lids that don't rust easily. I'm glad I got them.

I bought 2 of these sets, one for a gift and one for myself. What was a gift was perfect. The ones for me were wrong. I received a clear one with a gold cap and a green one with a silver cap. I love them but when paying for 2 green shakers I expect them to match. Still beautiful and glad I bought!

They arrived on time and in excellent condition, they are exactly the size and color I wanted but would love to read the reviews. The lids are very difficult to put on and take off, I'll probably keep them for decoration but won't use them anymore and will look for a better set. I bought two sets and both have the same problem. Very disappointed

It's charming in vintage style except the hats look very cheap. The dull tin can isn't the gleaming chrome or stainless steel that the Revain image shows. The reviews about salt and pepper coming out too quickly are TRUE! It comes out too fast and too much. So keep them by your sides and GENERALLY shake them side to side so you don't oversalt your food. I can forgive that part but in retrospect due to the ugly calico finish on the tops I wouldn't buy them again.

I needed a new set of salt and pepper shakers and I really like them. The metal lids are a little wobbly, but I've seen things like this with metal on glass before. A thin layer of something slippery, like oil, will make the cap on and off easier. Pour the oil into the jar, not the lid, to prevent salt or pepper from sticking to the inside of the lid holes.

Very cute, manly. Or. You know. not exactly male. Disagree with the hat complaints. Of course, they don't slide perfectly, but they should never be put on or taken off. It almost adds to the country charm they add to each table. They look/feel handmade due to manufacturing differences (you can see the difference in glass thickness in different places). I have no idea if they really exist.

I was a bit disappointed with these salt and pepper shakers. They are a good size and weight and look good on the stovetop. They arrived quickly and I have to give the sellers top marks for their packaging. What I didn't like was the quality of the lid. It's made of soft metal and as you screw the cap on and off you need to concentrate to make sure it's on properly. And I was afraid that I would bend the lid and it would stop working.
