I Can Hear You Now is the best audio and video accessory

When we recently moved into our new home with Spectrum/Charter DSL service, our 4 phones (1 base station with 3 wireless extensions) all had a major static problem. I connected a DSL splitter to the back of the Spectrum box and a phone line to it... No more static issues.

Pros
  • Color: White; Material: plastic, electrical parts; Model Number: SE-900LCCS-50
Cons
  • Everything OK

Disappointed with quality and performance

One of the adapters didn't work at all and the other slowed our internet connection down from 50Mbps to 7Mbps. Removing the adapter caused our internet connection to run at 50Mbps again. I ran these tests within minutes, so I know for sure it was the adapters.

Pros
  • Reduces digital noise and interference caused by DSL; Ideal for use with answering machines, telephones and fax machines.
Cons
  • weak

Not working for Telekom

Not working. When I pick up the phone or he calls, the ADSL line drops and loses sync. I live in South Africa, that might be the problem. Throw them in a box and forget them. I had to go to Telekom and buy other well-known brands at a much higher price, but at least they work.

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
  • Was damaged

Filters too much DSL signal

After a thunderstorm the telephone line started buzzing and since I had problems with flash-fried DSL filters before, I ordered these. When I received them I tried one out. It didn't help the buzzing and reduced my DSL signal/speed, although I thought it might have been caused by something else I was doing in the phone booth. After phone company repair fixed the buzzing, I still had a reduced DSL signal/speed. Since I still have the old filter (issued by the phone) I replaced it, tried again as

Pros
  • Electronics

  • Some bugs
