GloFish 19274 Large Color Changing Review

Decent regular sized plant for the price. Not exactly "big" and 100% NOT the color you order. I ordered purple blue and it was blue and white.

I find that almost all GloFish products are much more expensive than others without a need. They are also not as bright as the reference/promotional photos. Every GloFish decoration I've bought picks up dirt or moss fairly quickly, which dulls the glow effect even more.

Pink-purple plant is beautiful and lush, but does not glow well. I paired it with an orange-yellow glowing plant and as you can see in my photo, the orange-yellow plant glowed much better. You can't even see the pink-purple in the background. I'm sure if I had a big glowing light it would help, but even putting the pink and purple next to the existing light still gave off a faint glow.

The product is not properly filled with epoxy! Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when I received this item, but after placing it in my 75 gallon tank it took less than 4 days to create a white haze all over the water. I also noticed that some of the rocks had come loose and were floating around in my tank. The plant arrived with a very sticky base. Soak this plant as needed. The stickiness is gone but the base is completely white so the stones and varnish are hidden. I put it in an aquarium and 2 of my larger fish got sick. I don't know what to do now other than change the water and try to neutralize the pH. The filter was also changed and thoroughly cleaned. They still don't swim properly and pretend they're about to leave. I isolated them from the rest. I hope this isn't the end of them. I also
