Problems with figs for spare parts

Decent quality for the price. The workmanship was good, but the fit left a lot to be desired. I assumed there would be some issues installing automatic gauges on a filament switching rack pod, which is not unexpected.

This product is ideal for sight lines

This product is ideal for line of sight applications. If you are 6 feet 3 inches tall. The top display is otherwise a bit difficult to read, and it would be nice if all the pods were tilted down a bit more. Otherwise it's good enough for mass production and the price was good.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Decent product for the money

I installed this sensor on my 1996 F-150. If you are looking for the perfect fit and factory look, this product is not for you. it fits well, but not perfectly, and is obviously added. For my work truck, however, it gets the job done and provides a place to attach sensors without getting in my way or looking out of place. I mounted it through the existing A-pillar trim using my own self tapping screws and it looks great with my grey/black interior. I wouldn't put it in a show truck, but it's…

A little thin and the pockets aren't deep enough

Each of my three Autometer gauges has a pair of 1-1.5 inch metal studs on the back. The studs end in the pockets of this pod, so I was faced with a choice: drill holes in the back of each pocket to accommodate each sensor, or leave the sensors protruding about an inch from the pocket. I chose the latter option and wrapped each sensor in black tape to make everything look cleaner. Otherwise it fits my 94 F-250 perfectly and as a bonus it stopped the rattling of my existing A-pillar plastic that…

1995 Powerstroke F350 Block

This block is installed on my 1995 F350 Powerstroke. The fit is very clean if you adjust it properly. It's not meant to just blend in. Just hold it, mark the top and bottom of the trim, and erase both. Attach the fairing using the hardware provided and also drill 3 holes attaching the fairing to your truck. When you pre-install the capsule, get a slight crease down the middle, a little hand pressure and you'll see it's tight. Install the hardware properly and it will fit snugly into the fairing
