rating and feels very sturdy. I love the orange color

Inexpensive, valuable and very durable. I love orange color. It's not exactly the same as the orange Petzl, but it's closer than it looks in the picture (the rings appear more yellow in the picture than they really are).

Pros
  • Robust design

  • I'll write back

Hammock Hanger: Climbing

Use these for my hanging hammock system. Fast and easy. I wish they weren't so experimental for this app, but based on YouTube testing, they work better than D-rings and a few other options. As a metallurgist/welder, you seem to have that quality. The case lasts a long time.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Works as advertised. decent price.

I have attached two of these permanently to a tubular webbing as anchors to descend from the top of my mahogany backyard. Saves me having to haul a rope behind me when I can freely climb branches. I only leave 200 feet of paracord tied for static rope.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Only available in black

Better expected from GM

Unfortunately both large rings have three rough spots (pictured) on the inside of the ring that appear to be spot welds. Unfortunately they are a bit rough and I don't want a rope or net to slide over them for a long time. I also bought a pack of 5 smaller bells and they look ok.

Pros
  • GOLS certified

  • Not sure

Good rings. - Climbing

I am not a climber. I bought rings to hang my hammock, which is what happened when I attached it to my carabiner. All rings have a very smooth surface with specific markings. Were they well packaged in a small (I think) waxed paper bag to keep moisture out? In any case, it was a good bag. They arrived on time and I can't wait to find out what else I'll be using them for. Bought for a hammock

These are great rings. I use them as a hammock option so can't comment on how they perform when climbing. I bought these based on the reviews and they are all and more than what was described. Anyway I might choose a smaller size as these rings are very big. Even at large sizes, they weigh almost nothing. I will be carrying four of these in my hammock and the weight is negligible. As I said, they are a bit chunky for a carabiner and I might go down a size later. The workmanship is excellent, no
