Item appears to be fine but the cutting tool shown in the picture did not come with any of the hinges. So if you need a cutter do not buy it as the picture is deceptive.

Was the perfect replacement for my Ford fx4 04 with a solid driveshaft. Supplied with a cutter, cross piece, electronic terminals and spacers for electronic terminals. I can't comment on the build quality yet as I just installed it.

Great gimbal for the price. Replaced by 04 Ford f150 fx4 with single rear driveshaft prop shaft. It is recommended to use a ball joint remover along with a Dremel rust and burr tool to properly install a new ball joint.

Good replacement for my Ford F150 stuffed into the rear driveshaft universal joints. It comes with a cutting tool to burn out hammered metal in factory joints. My only downside is the metal bushing used to push out the old gimbal, it's flimsy and had to be bent hard several times. however, it is worth the effort.

Although the joint itself is fine as it was used as a repair to a "stuck" universal joint in the driveshaft of my 2005 Ford F150 8 cab footbed, it gets 1 star for this app. I hate being the bearer of bad news, but save yourself a lot of trouble, spend your money and buy a new driveshaft. End of the story.

I have a 2005 Lariat 4x4 f150 4 door. My original U-joints were clogged, didn't originally have snap rings. To remove this original U-joint, simply push the U-joint and the attached material simply releases. The hole can then be cleaned up with a 1/2 round file or sandpaper. This U-piece was an ideal replacement for the 1.063 x 3.77 cap-to-cap diameter caps. Gaskets are not required but are included in the scope of delivery.
