⚡️ Enhanced Cable Entry Plate for MC4 Solar Cables by Go Power! Review

This entry plate was exactly what I was looking for to connect my solar panel MC4 cables to my DIY portable solar generator. The panel is made of durable plastic and the cable glands have glands that can be tightened to create a watertight seal. Cable clips keep the connections of both sets of cables secure once connected. This panel is expensive but of high quality and offers more options than other entrance panels on the market.

This entry panel is very strong and very functional HOWEVER the description states that "the underside has gaskets around the screw holes. It's not like this. There are no seals. It's not the end of the world, but it will require additional sealing and of course it will be a messy affair. Both Go Power and Revain should correct this in the description and/or ship the entry plate "as described" as a replacement. In any case, it will be useful to me

It was only after ordering that I read reviews saying it was a poor design to achieve a good waterproof seal retainer. You were right. This thing looks more like it was designed for indoor use. There is very little space at the bottom to seal it on the RV roof to keep it from leaking. Also, you only get plastic parts. It does not include gaskets, sealing material or fittings.
