As advertised - chargers and adapters

As advertised Great product, handy size and bag. Requires lots of sunlight and slow charging. Buy a larger unit if you need more cargo.

Lots of nice features and connections

Lots of useful features and connections. Compact and easy to set up. Not sure I'd pay big bucks for a 40W again as I won't be using it that often. The quality is excellent.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Nothing here

The Go Power 40 arrived quickly and is a well made product.

. We tried it out on our next hike and it fully charged our battery in about three hours. It will make our next long journey smoothly. We will often dry the camp and do not expect a lack of energy!

So keep this in mind if you like shady campsites

I camped for a week and was able to charge my RV battery. It seems to be working as promised. But I need a longer cable to catch the sun. Keep this in mind if you like shady campsites. In the end I removed the battery to charge it. Go Power is easy to use and packs away in a great portable case.

High quality portable solar panel

Although I thought it cost more than some solar alternatives I was very impressed with the quality of this product when I received it. Cables and plugs are in the top drawer. It folds up beautifully for portability with an amazing storage box. I connected this to my 2 batteries at 1pm today and by 6:30pm they were charged from 61% to 84%.

This is an upgraded version of their previous 80w kit at the same price.

For the same price you get 90w compared to the previous 80w kit. Note the DBA/name difference (vs Go Power = GP), these are just Canadian and US subsidiaries of the same company. The controller I received is different (digital/newer?) than the one pictured here on Revain. Buy extended cables to pull the panels around so they follow the sun during the day (if your RV is under trees this is great for the temperature but not the rate at which the panels charge). RV use in Wisco, cloudy days are…
