Disappointing exhaust tip for performance cars

Using this product, our team found that it looked cheap and didn't offer any noticeable improvement to the car's performance. The installation process was difficult and required professional help.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor quality, difficult installation

Matching Silverado stock exhaust great

This is exactly what I wanted. I was afraid that 14 inches would be too long, but it turned out to be exactly the size I was aiming for, just enough to hide from prying eyes but not look disproportionate. The 2.75" intake fits perfectly into my exhaust on my 1999 Silverado, it goes nowhere with the clamp tight, better than a U-bolt installed there. I drilled a small hole to drain the condensate. We'll see how it holds up in winter weather but for now there's the finishing touch I was looking…

Pros
  • Stainless steel clamp included
Cons
  • Slightly cracked

Best advice at any price!

I've been looking for a bit of shine for the exhaust system and this is the best I've found at any price. The original GM is $100, the Revain is $85 for the GM part, then there are many cheaper and more expensive options. There are basically 2 different types of bolt eyelets; polished stainless steel and chrome steel. Polished stainless steel is beautiful and will last a long time, but it's expensive and not as quiet as chrome. Chrome steel is cheaper but prone to corrosion and chrome chipping.

Pros
  • Chrome over Stainless
Cons
  • Fine
