Great, solid pin; quality wood but very dry

I like the thickness, weight, and length of this pin. The reason it gets a star knocked off is that the wood is extremely dry, and the dough will stick to it. I have been oiling it with walnut oil to see if the pin will soak up enough oil to make a difference. That's how you're supposed to care for it. Perhaps it's like a cast iron skillet - the more you season and use it, the better it becomes. I'm glad I bought it, but I think it's too early to tell if it's "the" pin of all pins.

Pros
  • Clean, easy to use,...no problems
Cons
  • May require flouring or greasing before each use

Love it! - my new review

Love this rolling pin! I bought it to replace a large, cumbersome American rolling pin that had cracked. My daughter and I used it today to make sugar cookies. It worked perfectly! I really appreciate the space saving size, the quality of the wood, and how efficient it was for my daughter to use.

Pros
  • Just what I was looking for. Good quality, price and size.
Cons
  • May not provide consistent results across different batches

Perfection! in my review

The perfect rolling pin. The perfect length to roll dough the width of a baking sheet pan. Perfectly milled wood. Perfect feel and weight. A perfect match to Grandma’s 80 year-old roller!

Pros
  • Love the size, compact to store, easy to use and clean !!! Exactly what I was looking for !
Cons
  • May not be suitable for gluten-free or alternative flours

It's a rolling pin - what more can I say

Hard to give a simple rolling pin a bad review…. I mean it rolls stuff out. What more can you ask for.BTW – this does not come with instructions, so If you don’t know how to use a rolling pin & need instructions you might want to look elsewhere 

Pros
  • It's a rolling pin, it works. Easy to clean and good quality.
Cons
  • May not be the ideal shape for certain baking projects

Perfect size! for my opinion

Love this rolling pin. Perfect for what I use it for. Great price. Just wish it had more weight to it. Easier to work with than large for rolling out dough. I still think it's a great rolling pin.

Pros
  • Not cumbersome and perfect for rolling dough. I bought two.
Cons
  • May require additional flouring or oiling mid-way through use

Cons

Excellent quality, appearance, and size!

Love this! Perfect size for many, many purposes! I use mostly for rolling out fondant, and it is about as large as it could be to still comfortably apply very strong pressure for thin, extra flat and smooth surface for creating custom fondant decorations. Also perfect for biscuits, cookies and lighter jobs. Perfectly smooth and stronger than plastic rolling pins that flex. Glad to have found it! Logo imprint on edge is very pleasing to the eye and well-placed. Does not interfere with rolling…

Pros
  • It is just what I wanted in length and thickness. Love it!
Cons
  • May result in dough being overworked or tough

Great replacement for traditional rolling pin

I have limited counter space and this was a great replacement for rolling pin with handles that needs so much more room to work with.

Pros
  • Perfect for pasta making! Easy for the kiddos to use as well. I see many miles for this roller!
Cons
  • May be prone to sticking to dough

I recommend this Gobam wood rolling pin

Exactly what I expected, no splinters, right size for making pie or small pizza.I gave 4 stars because I have not used it yet and don’t know how it will hold up with repeated use.

Pros
  • Great quality and easy to bring in luggage since I like to make pies while visiting family
Cons
  • May require additional pressure to effectively roll out dough

Mexican mom making tortillas approved!

My mom loved this to make her flour tortillas! She said other rolling pins would hurt her palms after a while rolling the flour but not this one. And she said it took less time to roll out the tortilla to a thinness compared to others. This is easy to clean and doesn’t hold in any water✨

Pros
  • all good
Cons
  • Box says made in China. The add says 2 different woods. Bamboo and then some other. Sent back.

Rough surface: my feedback

It needs to be sanded smooth. It’s as rough as my old one! I don’t recommend it. Had my husband not washed it right away, I would have returned it. I don’t recommend it.

Pros
  • Used it to roll out pizza dough. Works great.
Cons
  • May require additional cleanup of surrounding surface area after use

Great rolling pin in my review

I bought this mainly to roll out my dough for my bread. It works really good and I just have to remember to flour the rolling pin before I put it on the dough or it will get sticky. Overall it is a great rolling pin for a great price.

Pros
  • This is good. I use it for pizza dough and noodles. No complaints, works as it should.
Cons
  • May break apart if accidentally dropped
