Description of Efficiently Clean and Polish Silver: Goddard's Silver Polish Foam 18oz

POWERFUL CLEAN: Goddard's Silver Polish Foam effectively cleans tarnish from silver antiques, decorations, and home fixtures. It beats different types of decay: corrosion, rust, discoloration, deterioration, and time-accumulated stains. RESTORING: By fighting off tarnish and other forms of deterioration, the silver foam polisher washes off layers of oxidation. This means that the silver's natural gleam and shine is restored, making it look as good as new. It also preserves pieces' natural luster and maintains their classic beauty. PROTECTIVE GUARD: The polish cleanser not only clears off tarnish, it also leaves a protective safeguard on silver items' surfaces. It defends articles in the long run through a tarnish-resistant barrier, which prevents degradation of your fixtures for long periods of time. FAST AND EASY: A sponge applicator comes with the silver polish container. For optimal effect, dampen the applicator with warm water. Then, work the polish into a rich, creamy lather and apply it on silver. Rinse the piece or fixture under running water and dry it off with a soft towel. ABOUT US: Originally founded in Leicester, England, Goddards fine cleaners and polishes are used by professionals, museums and estates around the world. They have found that there are no other products that shine and protect their valued belongings like Goddards.

The cutlery in the desk drawer worked great.

Worked great with cutlery that had been in the drawer for so long my husband didn't recognize it. It's just a little tricky to calculate the water to detergent ratio. The sponge should be on the wet side to work better and warm water. Once the water cools, it's not that easy to clean. Saved me hours of cleaning time with just one polishing cloth. We used the whole jar for 57 pieces and it took several hours.

Much worse than el-cheapo Walmart Polish

I had some very tarnished plates that I bought on sale. Friction I was concerned about squeezing. I have seen reviews of this product and how it supposedly comes off and clears in one application. Nonsense! I lathered it three times and it only slightly removed the tarnish. this product. It's probably the right choice if you want to improve the condition of an extremely expensive rig a bit, but it sucks for everything else.

The best at all! on household items

When I was a teenager, polishing silver was my parents' punishment. Yesterday I looked at the same tea set with tarnish layers because I hate polishing. I was given a little reprieve from running out of my old product and after reading these great reviews I decided to give Goddards a try. As everyone said, it's fantastic! While polishing the silver will never be a Hugh Jackman dance party night, this dreadful job went MUCH faster and easier - and with wonderful results. The supplied sponge not…

Cleans well good for polishing metals

I had a property sale and needed to clean A LOT of silver. In fact, I removed so much silver that I ended up with carpal tunnel syndrome. All I can say is that I hate polishing silver. All the silver I wanted to keep for myself is now for sale. I don't want to polish something every 6 months that's already clean if it hasn't even been used. At this point, your stuff owns you. Despite all this, this silver polish seems to clean well. Of course you still have to do manual work, but maybe not as…

Northern lab-goddards 654709 Goddard's Long Shine Silver Foam

It says England but I've found it's made in the USA with that formula in Minnesota? I really like this product. It doesn't appear to contain the same silver preservative as Hagerty's polish, but I like its consistency because it's gooey, more of a fluffy paste than a liquid or cream. Since 1839 this polish has been considered the best used in England. professional restorers and people who keep precious historical collections of silverware. There is no mention of the presence of preservatives to
