Do not buy. Corrodes and sticks

I absolutely loved it when they arrived and they looked really fresh. No problem with the size. Unfortunately, over time, they corroded internally and stuck to the tire nipples. In this case you will have to cut them open to remove them. I suspect this is an issue with any aluminum valve cover.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Flaws

Absolutely the worst thing to put on a tire

As many people have mentioned, if you use them and live anywhere north they will corrode the inside of the valve stem and you can't get them , if you don't. t cut them off. It took me 30 minutes and a hacksaw to take these things off. Please just buy plastic dust covers and save yourself the headache.

KEEP IN MIND! on valve stems and caps

Don't think they will fit on your tire valve stems. They will not fit my 2013 Honda Accord tires. Their return cost more than their value so it's a total loss for me, but only about $5 for a lesson well learned about trusting what I've read in some product descriptions. I would give them zero stars but I can't warn others with this rating.

Not worth bothering if they are so bad they stick

They looked perfect at first glance. They were on my car for a few months and the weather was changing so I had to adjust the tire pressure. These caps got stuck on the valve stems, I had to use two pairs of pliers to get them off and when I took them off the paint was scraped, the corners were rounded and damaged. Not worth the trouble if they're so bad they stick.

WARNING! Read the review and see the photos.

This is the worst and most expensive purchase I have ever made from Revain. Two months later the valve stems were sticking. I tried spraying them with WD40 daily for a couple of weeks. And they wouldn't move with a needle vise holding rods and a wrench. Replacing the valve stems on all four wheels cost me $88. This is a horrible, horrible company to do this to people. And Revain should be ashamed that this company will continue to do this to people.

WARNING! Do not use with brass valve stems!

Using a standard brass valve core in an aluminum valve stem cap will cause galvanic corrosion which will make the cap impossible to remove. Installed these caps on my new VW Jetta about 6 months ago. Since the car has a tire pressure monitoring system, I didn't usually remove the caps to check tire pressure. When I tried this a week ago, the caps wouldn't come off. I had to cut them off with a dremel and replace all the valve stems.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Thin

No corrosion issues but color is fading

They fit me very well, no galvanic corrosion issues as others have mentioned. I check my tire pressures at least every few months and only tighten them up. If they are over tightened you can ruin the valve stem threads and their coating and I think this is where a lot of sticking issues come into play. After years of routine car washes and the California sun, they've faded noticeably to just a faint shade of orange, which surprised me. Of course they feel much better than the cheap plastic…

Looks good but beware

Looks very cool and seems like a quality product from the start. As a Michigan driver (think salty roads) this was a terrible choice. all four have rusted to the valve over the winter and can no longer be removed without risking tire damage. Not sure yet what my solution will be - I've tried spot spray to fight the corrosion and free the caps but it didn't work. Most likely in the near future I will just change tires and use plastic hubcaps from now on. With care and in warmer climates, they…

  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Does not go with everything

Do not buy, the tick sticks to the valve stem like superglue

Do not buy. If you live in a city and clean your car and valve stem every day, you should be fine. I drive a lot, like 36,000 or more a year, and I put them in the car. They discolored and interestingly stuck to the valve stem and couldn't get it off. Since the cap is 8mm I pulled out the rosette and some needle nose pliers and couldn't spend it. Then it blew out the next day, and after trying and failing, the agent took the tire to the shop and had them install a new valve stem. When buying…
