    You get what you pay for. Just pretend it's an extension cord.

    I use this product to connect a kettle and coffee grinder on my kitchen counter. It's also not a 'smart' device, particularly prone to surges. Not to mention a computer or TV, I wouldn't trust that thing to protect my phone charger from power surges. Even with a ridiculously useless 90 joules rating, the build quality of this thing really isn't meant for heavy use. This is a short extension cord with a switch, not a surge protector. $10-11 for a budget GE product gives you a lot more…

    Line filter works well. However, the main problem I have is the direction of each individual socket (if I use the term correctly, they are connected in series). The direction is that one large adapter will cover two to three outlets, effectively reducing 6 outlets to four (or even three). Second, the distance between each socket; Too short.     High four, low five stars. for the following reasons: - not sure why it counts as green as there's nothing to indicate it's "green" except the plug's wire. - It seems pretty cheap. It's lightweight and doesn't feel "hard". All six sockets cannot be used because they are quite close together. However, for the price, this seems to work where I wanted to put it. It works. And despite the "feel" of a cheap build, it didn't fall apart.

    Check the plug before use

    My first purchase had a dangerous defect. I had to check it carefully before using it. When I tried to plug in an extension cord, sparks came out of the outlet and my switch tripped.     Fits well behind bookshelves; You can't use all 6 outlets unless all your plugs are small/narrow

    I bought this surge protector to plug in behind a bookshelf. The square plug means it fits perfectly, but the alignment and spacing of the jacks leaves a lot to be desired. The only way to use all 6 sockets is if all the plugs are narrow (like lamp plugs).
