Gokilife Vacuum Sealer Bag Rolls: 3 Pack of BPA Free, Heavy Duty Rolls for Food Saver, Sous Vide & Vacuum Storage Review

I have a MagicVac and am having a very hard time getting these packs to achieve or maintain a tight seal. So I used them as a camping item, I just had to seal them up for a few days. Not a big fan.

They worked fine on my machine. The plastic is thick enough to hold and close easily. They seem to hold up well in the freezer. I haven't tried cooking with them (sous vide) to know if they would work just as well over high heat. I like that there are 3 different sizes in the set. It's super comfortable.

These bags are fine. They're economical, seal well, stay airtight, and pass the freeze test. This is a good range of sizes included. I often use the smallest size for sous vide and the other two sizes for freezing. I've also found that vacuum packing my iceberg lettuce and kale after using half of them keeps them fresh for much longer and the cut doesn't brown. 11" bags work well for this. This is a nice package of different sizes (widths) for sealing products with my vacuum machine. I use them for sous vide, chicken cuts, fish cuts and steaks. Using a vacuum pack instead of a zipper is much easier. I'm sure the food is sealed and I can just submerge the entire bag under water if I need it during cooking. I don't see much difference between these buns and the one that came with my FoodSaver. They appear to be the same thickness and seal just as well as the branded ones. I like having different widths to accommodate meats of different lengths and textures. Our nests are empty, so smaller rolls work well if you only need two types of meat, e.g. B. two pork/lamb chops or two beef fillets. They work fine in my FoodSaver V4400 Sealant. It has the function of putting a roll in the machine and the smaller 20-25ft rolls are the ideal size for the added convenience of a roll in the machine. This keeps the roll clean and usually prevents it from wrinkling. However, I have found that this material will wrinkle from time to time, sometimes resulting in my sealant never creating a full vacuum.
