Part of the grip marked as rubberized for comfort is extremely sticky. No cleaning seems to get rid of the sticky feeling. Very disgusting!

The Gold N Hot products I've used have been great. But I have a little problem with this product I received today. Help? Size is an issue. This size is too big for me. Ashamed! The box says 1-1/2", which to my knowledge is the circumference of the barrel. The item I received today is 5". How and where should I measure to get a 1-1/2 , as stated on the packaging.?Please reply quickly so that I can exchange it for a different size. Thank you.

I have been looking for this 2 inch polymerizer for a few years but have not been able to find it at any of the local stores near me. I was happy when I found it. Online and at such a good price. I have bought 4 or 5 of these curlers in the last 3-4 years. This is the best ceramic curling iron I've found for the price (I've never spent more than $50). However, I believe that with this latest purchase (11/2007) the iron does not get as hot as it used to. It may not matter much to most, but my hair is naturally coarse and wavy, so heat is essential for styling. it is smooth and soft. I was looking for a good curling iron that would offer some protection from the harsh heat of traditional curling irons. What I received was an iron that doesn't frizz! I'm a hairdresser and this is one of the best products I've ever had. They have perfect heat control and heat up faster than any other brand. Reliable too, this brand lasts and lasts, only needs a new one because a smaller barrel is needed.

Bought for my mom. She is a black woman with short hair. She used a tiny iron, but it didn't last more than two days. Now, with this miracle cure, she can style her hair on Saturdays, put on a satin hat every night, and look PERFECT until the next shampoo. It goes up to 400 degrees, maybe 450, not sure considering I make it by hiding it in the bathroom. In any case, you don't need it that hot. 350 is more than enough! That's the best part :)

I love Gold N Hot products and this curling iron is no exception. I'm African American and I can't curl my hair with the flat irons you find in stores. I first discovered Gold N Hot products in a beauty store but they are no longer available under this brand. I'm so glad I found her on Revain.com.
