This is poor quality

I ordered this item in good faith and when I opened it I found the coin was loose and then fell to the floor. It looked like someone had glued it on before. I looked at the back which had a JFK coin on it and you could barely see the front. I think it must have been sent back and someone tried to tape it back. I was so frustrated that I decided to write this review instead of sending it back and waiting another week for a replacement that may have the same issue.

It doesn't fit well, I don't recommend it.

The clip sucks for holding money. It doesn't fold well and doesn't hold a decent stack of bills. I had to compress it and while it worked for the larger stack, now it won't fit into smaller stacks of notes as it is now stretched. Looks great, but functionally not the best. Definitely won't work if you want to clip it to a thin wallet like I originally intended.

Good when new but not the latest

In July 2013 I bought two of these: one for me and one as a gift. The gold plating lasted about 8 months of normal use and today, April 2014, the coin fell off along with the support ring. The second I gave to someone here in Bangladesh who probably thinks it represents American quality as it's an American coin. I am a bit confused. Good thing he doesn't wear it every day like I do. Maybe it stays longer as a reminder of my poems that should work. I had a similar clip but much better quality…

I am impressed with the craftsmanship of this money clip.

The intricate details of this coin fill me with a sense of comfort. My father has been collecting coins all his life. Came with a horrible scratch

Bought as a gift a long time ago. I am visiting my friend out of state tomorrow and received this product the day before I gave it to him. It's so embarrassing to give him a product with such a noticeable scratch. Not to mention the quality of the metal is very light and cheap and I have a feeling the slightest touch will leave another scratch.
