Great for painting, coloring and art supplies

I add this to my potting medium to prevent cracking and tearing of acrylic paintings. There was none of that. Little things are very important to what/how I use it.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • -

This medium is one of my favorites for my acrylic paints! My colors spread wonderfully and lay on canvases! I've kept paints for several months with this tool! Make sure you test a small amount of paint before storing large quantities! It works with mine, but there are different types of colors! I never had a problem!

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • neutral

I love this stuff! good for painting

New to acrylic pouring, bought a range of different products for the study process. The picture shows my 3rd filling (the first 2 were just for touch) and I am very happy with it. I used Floetrol for my next project and I'm not as happy as this one. It's a little pricey but seems worth it. I also had to strain Floetrol but not this product.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Sad technique

That's great!

I use GAC to mix with my acrylics for pouring paint. It creates a glossy finish on the fillings, which I like because I don't have to apply varnish to the finished product. Can also be applied directly to the finished canvas for a glossy finish. I use it on canvas and pieces of wood. It's a bit pricey but really worth it for your artwork. Definitely recommend and buy again!

Old inventory with dried/dried pieces

It must have been an old inventory. There are many chunky pieces inside that turned out to be thin paper that looks like strips of plastic (like dried acrylic paint). I went ahead and used it because I'm impatient. But even trying to make sure I pulled out all the dried pieces, a few damaged from pouring paint. I wish they sold it locally somewhere. I think I will stick with Flotrol in the future. Disappointing.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Can't remember

can lighten the color of your paint.

Bought this item to add to my homemade acrylic "color mixes". This is to help reduce the chances of your paint going crazy or cracking. Ideal potting mixes don't change the color of your paint, they make it more liquid, but they don't reduce its opacity or destroy its adhesion (as would happen if the paint was simply thinned with water). There are ready-made color mixes that I've tried (and I personally didn't find the more expensive Liquitex brand particularly better than the cheaper Sergeant…
