This thing is HUGE! I was expecting a tiny one that fits between my middle and index finger like I had growing up to oil my bike. I can't blame the product or the seller for this error, but I think I should have looked at the details. It easily holds a cup of oil, so it's suitable for large projects. But I'm not sure if anyone mentioned that, but the oil drips when held upside down. So for smaller projects I would look elsewhere. Even though it was large, it would still help lubricate firearms…

We use this product at work to put a few drops of oil directly on our machine's chain drives and some track/bearing contact points. This works very well in hard-to-reach places and especially where a real oil is needed instead of an aerosol product. Or where aerosols themselves are not recommended due to overspray and product contamination. This small canister is not designed for very thin aqueous liquids.
