Easy install on GTW seat for EZGO TXT

So easy to install, my 9 year old and I put it on in 5 minutes. For those who have asked, the distance between the bars where the front and rear nuts are welded is about 10-5/8" which is perfect for our GTW rear seat which has a 10-3/ "between the bottom frame of the foot platform. four".

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Has flaws

Measure before you buy

Sturdy product but I wouldn't buy it knowing it adds 7 inches to the cart length. Too long for my car/golf cart garage. I ordered it because of the fast delivery. Unlike other similar items, no sizes were listed in the advert. The holes matched the holes on the golf cart and installation was fairly easy.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Added safety for rear seat passengers

The golf cart lives in a senior community and is used for social trips and to meet up with other residents over the age of 55. Before I got the handrails I was concerned that the neighbors would get in, get out and ride in the back seat. With the help of a neighbor, the handrails were easily attached to the golf cart. Now my friends can ride with me.

  • Sturdy construction

Customer Service Update!

My previous review mentioned that while the product is durable and is exactly what I wanted, the product did not come with the hardware shown in the photo to install the handrail. I also complained that after several attempts to contact customer service I got nothing from them at all. I finally got an answer and they were very kind and apologetic and they made a very satisfactory arrangement to rectify the situation. Try them!

Not worth the money

Unfortunately this safety rail was not of good quality. We had to redrill the holes to line them up, although this should have worked with our golf cart, one of the holes was about 1/2" wide. It's not durable at all and to be honest I wish I could get something cheaper so I could spend more time and money on amplification, or something more expensive that would work out of the box but is well built.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Useless features

Difficult installation

Reliability and a sense of security. VERY DIFFICULT INSTALLATION on a club car with folding rear seats! I had to cut 2-3 inch wide cutouts on the vertical part of the cross braces and also slightly bend the remaining tabs with nuts to fit under the foot platform frame. I would take a picture, but it's difficult to take it just for the picture. Luckily I had the tools (a hacksaw, large wrenches, clamps and a hammer). Definitely not a "stress-free installation kit" for a club car!

  • Pleasant
