💇 Goody Bobby Pins, Silver: 60-Pack of 2 Inch Hair Pins for Versatile Styling Review

I gave these pins 2 stars because the color was just what I needed for my gray hair. However, they are not supportive at all. I made my date hair and used these bobby pins to secure it. I played around with them all night because they kept slipping out. I would not recommend it.

About 13 months ago my mother decided to stop doing her hair and let her beautiful gray hair grow out. Since then she has had a hard time finding the right color invisibility hairpins in our area. She has used her stack of black/brown pins for many years but they are very noticeable and give her a conscientious feel. She already has the vast majority of her friends and family telling her to start dying her hair, which is a shame. But other than that, she couldn't find what she needed to feel…

I decided to take a chance based on previous reviews but agree this is NOT SILVER. They are very dark grey, almost black. I think someone said "metallic gray" and I would even say it's darker. Brown pencils are lighter. Unless it's for someone with very dark salt and pepper hair, it will be very obvious.

Color is good but the protective tip is so thin that it scratches the skin. You are painful. It's ok in a pinch, but I'll look into another brand. Her motto is "Look good #FeelGoody". I'm disappointed. Previously, Goody's product quality was reliable. This misses the target.

invisible studs ordered from Revain because gray is nowhere to be found. This is the same brand that is commonly found but out of stock for sale. I thought thousands of people would have turned gray because of the pandemic and WFH. Why doesn't #Goody sell any accessories in this colourway? Of course, Revain has it all.

Until I started going gray my hair was auburn almost black. About 80% of my hair grows back white. My old black pencils are sticking out like a sore thumb now. These silver spools are PERFECT and match well, much better than the white spools. Quality is good except the round little piece seems to come loose at the end quicker than my old black invisible ones so I'm deducting a star.
