Long thin thin hair? These banana clips are the answer!

If you have long thin thin hair these "Banana Clips" are the only way to keep your hairstyle! Rubber bands, hairpins and the like just fall out. have been using them since the 80's and will continue to do so. They are the only product I have found that holds my hair.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • A few little things

So glad to find her again!

I used them in the 80's and loved the hair they gave me. My last one broke in the 90's. I couldn't find them in any hair display case. Someone said check out Revain and now over 20 years later I found her again! I bought several packs! Love!

Pros
  • Finished
Cons
  • Weak Set

Comfort and style - hair combs

Ideal for styling thick hair. They don't pull your hair and are comfortable all day long. They distribute the weight of the hair along the shaft of the comb so it doesn't hurt like rubber bands sometimes do. The colors are muted and tend to blend with your hair color, making them visible but imperceptible. I couldn't find them in local stores. The Revain was delivered quickly and was as described.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works as far as I remember

Exactly as I remember from the 80's and 90's. I've bought several other "banana clips" and they just fell out of my hair. I had to constantly pull them up all day. I got so annoyed that I threw them away. But then I stumbled across them and thought they look just like the ones I remembered and the price was good so I took a chance and ordered them. I'm glad I did. They work very well. They're perfect for those days when I don't feel like messing with my hair a lot, but they still look a bit…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Not like banana clips from the 80's :(

They're just fine, they don't hold up well (and I have very thin hair), they open up and pull the hair out at the base. old banana clips, the mine crazy permed hair and could tie over a sea green net!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • little things

Ideal for a child with thin hair.

These are not the banana clips we had in the 80's. They would be good for a thin haired six year old girl. They are tiny and don't hold much hair.

Pros
  • Test results stable
Cons
  • Updates available

I would not recommend

Those particular "banana clips" aren't what they used to be. This size is for a child and is not stable. I have thick hair and he couldn't hold it back.

Pros
  • I look forward to
Cons
  • Stock

Not your 1980's banana hair clips

I recently decided to let my hair grow out after years of short haircuts. I soon found I didn't know what to do with it other than put it in a ponytail. Then I remembered banana clips from the 80s. I always like the way hair looks on bobby pins. (longer, fuller). I looked for clips at local stores and found that no one was selling them anymore. I went to Revane (who has EVERYTHING) and found these clips. The LOOK is identical to the clips from the 80's, but unfortunately not as well made and…

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are problems

You get what you pay for.

They always say you get what you pay for and at $3.10 for four clips it seemed like a good deal. But these clips are nowhere near as good as the clips from the 80's. They are thin, which makes it very difficult to collect hair in them and attach the hairpin. Once it snaps, it shifts. It just won't stay. I want them to make strong banana clips like the ones in the past.

Pros
  • handy thing
