Other reviews mentioned the size was not as expected. The mirror I received is 11 inches from the top of the mirror to the bottom of the handle. The mirror itself is a rectangle 7 1/2 inches in diameter and 5 inches high. The handle length is about 5 inches. Mine is on a hook so you can check the back of your head while I blow it out. It seems pretty reliable in its scope. It fits the ad. Good price, I'm satisfied.

I know it's a mirror. But I've had many other hand mirrors in my life and they usually take a little dent. I dropped this mirror on the bathroom rug and it cracked. Yes I know. This is a MIRROR. But I've had my previous mirror for more years than I can remember, and I've dropped it more times than I can remember. I think the strength of glass is not what others are made of. Using this mirror for close-up shots of anything was incredibly frustrating. The reason is that this mirror will have a subtle double image with any reflective object like tweezers when you are very close to the mirror. This is extremely annoying and makes detailed work like plucking difficult because you can't see the tool properly. I almost have a headache. This mirror is good for long distances like looking at your hair but I would never buy it if it didn't do all sorts of tasks.
