📸 GoPro AADIV-001 Super Suit: Ultimate Dive Housing for HERO7/HERO6/HERO5 Review

Overall item arrived on time and in good condition. The case feels very sturdy and looks well made. However, it lay with me for a week and fell out of my hands onto the concrete floor. The windscreen is broken. I know it's for diving, but if you want it for other uses like biking or skateboarding, I don't recommend it.

This supersuit and camera slipped off the clamp/rail the first dive I used. Hundreds of dollars go. Removing the lens to wear this is BAD design! The lens should be exposed as little as possible. Anytime you need to handle the mini SD or battery, however, you should leave them unprotected. Especially bad for diving. I don't recommend it, I've had all versions of Go Pro Camera.

I bought this for my Hero 6 for a little extra protection. It works great for protection, but even the open back covers too much of the touchscreen, making the GoPro surface very difficult to swipe and use. I still keep a dive case but for other purposes it's really inconvenient and I don't use it when snorkeling or doing normal daily activities. I used this primarily for diving along the coast of Cancun, Mexico. It worked as advertised. However, I created a real problem by washing it off after a saltwater swim. I accidentally filled in the inside, just carefully. I laid it out to dry, which apparently happened. The next day I was already fully equipped and the lens fogged up despite the lack of fog lights. I bought this dive case because I knew the touch screen wouldn't work. It was phenomenal on all 4 dives to 20-25 meters! This thing is a godsend for diving, but don't expect the touchscreen to be used on the surface without fighting fog. My biggest gripe with this thing is that the frame door is too light for water and sand. . If you want the same great protection for your new Hero 5 as previous GoPro models, this is definitely a buy. These are the same materials they've been using for years and they work great. The case comes with an open rear door and two watertight doors, which comes in handy in case the O-ring on one of them breaks.
