I'm a total amateur so I'm learning as I go because I can't find proper instructions online. First I rolled these stones with 4 different grits but they were still dull. Then I bought cerium oxide and some turned out very nice and shiny, others are still dull. I assume different stones need different polishing. Works exactly as advertised. The 2000 Accord and Gramma dried their wipers on a dirty windshield. It was very difficult to see at night and in the rain. Bought a Bosch random orbit sander ($49) and a 1lb can of cerium powder and used 1 felt pad. The water stains disappeared almost immediately. However, the scratches had to be worked on. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if this would fix a 1 1/2 inch scratch on my glass coffee table. The scratch was deep enough to keep my nail from moving back and forth across it. I recently used this product to restore float glass mirrors in a bathroom where the surface had been scratched trying to remove wallpaper paste residue. Subsequent use of the Scrotch Brite cleaning pad severely scratched the surface. Given the location of the scratches, I was working on a vertical surface, so it took longer to remove drain scratches than the paste was applied. I used a cordless angle drill.
