I use them for scooping dough and pastry dough. They work great. The grip is comfortable and the stated capacities are accurate. They scoop easily and are fairly easy to clean with hot water. I'm happy with them and will buy more sizes if needed.

One of the three measurements isn't stamped on the product so now I don't know what size my scoops are, if it's 1 oz or 2 or something similarly, because once I threw the box away, the size of each scoop there disappeared. Second, they are a little tight when squeezed, but that's not a bad thing, other than the sizing isn't listed on the product.

I was so hoping for this scoop but unfortunately I may not have been lucky. The center shaft mechanism came out right with the first ball of my cookie dough. Also, I agree with other reviewers that "stroking" in the scoop itself leaves more space between the scoop wall and the scraper, resulting in quite a bit of batter remaining in the scoop.

Can't speak for other products but I bought this large cookie scoop and it was a flop. You need two hands to squeeze the handle because the piece of metal that scratches the dough is weak and will catch on chocolate chips or anything that isn't clean dough. This is probably because the metal strip protrudes at least 2cm from the bottom of the scoop, leaving a significant amount of dough in the scoop itself (see picture). I'll be back.

For a long time the handles were comfortable and felt firmer than the shovels I've had in the past. It worked very well the first time, a little worse the next time. The third time, the metal "scraper" used to eject the cookie dough wasn't quite halfway, so I had to grab the ejected part and pull out each time. The nature of the lesions is the purpose of using the shovel. I threw the box away so I couldn't return it under their "lifetime guarantee".

This spoon never scooped all of the batter out of the spoon and always left about a ¼ inch layer of batter inside the spoon. It was annoying enough. But then it broke after several uses! Useless. A curved metal "shovel" emerged from the shovel's bowl. I had to physically replace it in the notch, holding the thumb of my other hand and squeezing the handles to get a ball of cookie dough onto my sheet. Throw it away, it's useless. Don't waste money.
