The Govee app is so bloated and full of unneeded features that customization and usability take a backseat. There are no simple default modes, the presets have random names with no correlation, and creating your own designs lacks the features to actually save them properly. The lights are excellent. They're nice and bright and really set the mood for any occasion. The app is also easy to set up and really handy.However the the adhesive on the clips are very poor. Frankly I don't how anyone would create any sort of intricate shape with how poor these adhesives are. I didn't make a shape myself, there are simply on a straight line and curve into the ground, but the adhesive still come loose after a couple hours. 1million light options and it’s amazing ! Easy controllable with phone ! Worth the money !But adhesive is not too strong u need to make a design first finalize and stick adhesive and let it dry for 24 hours then put the rope ! Most challenging part is the design it took me 2 hours to do this ! But over all I can rate this product 11/10 ! A point extra 😜

As you can see I’m familiar with LEDs and I’ve tried a few brands. Govee is by far my favorite budget brand and I use it all over my house. This rope is my new favorite! its great in color modes and very bright, enough to give a room a din illumination (like an intense night light) but like many govee products it CAN NOT produce any actual white colors. its pale blue to greenish orange to dim red orange. no setting will give you an actual white.

The adhesive stuck alright, but I ended up using the included screws to give it a more permanent hold.It looks fantastic, the presets are awesome, and the custom light patterns are so fun to make.Personal gripe, it needs to have a bit better app, but I'm not reviewing the app. The rope light is a solid buy. I'm really enjoying it!

It is super bright, and you can adjust its brightness, and I think the real value is in the app. There is tons of animation, sound reactions, and moods.
