WILL NOT FIT SOCKET

Micro SD male connector will not fit a good micro SD female connector. All my microsd cards are usually inserted into the slot. I tried using it on my Monoprice Select Mini v2 3D printer. Maybe it's a different standard. Let me know if anyone can explain this. JIM

Cons

Four months outage

The first problem I had was having to turn off the printer every time I changed the card. Hot swap is not recognized. The card reader failed completely in less than four months. There is no way to contact the store for a replacement or refund. I won't buy anything from them again.

Pros
  • Full set
Cons
  • Security

A sensible purchase for the ender3 3D printer.

Works as described. It's pretty thin so I wouldn't touch it too often. It snaps securely into place and securely holds your SD card. Much better than trying to fiddle with the micro SD card all the time. I use this on my ender 3 3D printer. If this review was helpful, please click this button.

3D Printer Ready SD to Micro SD Adapter

Won't stay in the Micro SD card slot on my Ender 3 V2. I sent a refund and Revain paid for it. Avoid this if you want to use a reliable SD card with your Ender 3. Where does Revain get the categories to rate it from? You need transparency, thickness, and warmth ratings. How transparent, thick or warm does an SD to Micro SD card reader need to be?

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • For seniors

Didn't work, returned

I wanted this to be used with my 3D printer. I tried this with my new printer and the printer couldn't see the card. I have three different adapter cards and have tried all three. I used the micro SD card that came with both printers and verified that the machines can read the cards without an adapter. I have no idea what the problem is. I returned this for a refund and replaced it with another brand that worked on the first try.

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Nothing here

Not suitable for Ender 3v2

Works but not sure if it is my application or product. I can't get it to stay in the slot on the micro end, and it doesn't automatically recognize that I've replaced the card, essentially reversing the reason I bought it. I bought it for the Ender 3v2 to move the map and also allow a regular SD card to be used. I will not reject any product because I don't know if it's my app. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a similar use.

Pros
  • Large selection

Great addition to a 3D printer

Bought this to use with an Ender 3 3D printer I'm not a fan of micro SD cards, they are too small for an old one Man like me and there is no microSD slot on my computer. This adapter fits nicely into Thingiverse's SD Card Adapter Holder 2918770 and will likely fit most others. The device is 11.8 mm high and 35.2 mm wide. The cable is long enough, maybe even too long. This works very well for those who don't want to deal with micro SD cards.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Appearance

It works exactly as it's supposed to.

I bought this to extend the SD card reader on my 3D printer so I don't have to reach back. While the extension cable works fine as described, my printer's "SD card recognition" is an actual microswitch in the card slot, meaning I still have to unplug and reinsert the extension for the card to be recognized. This is NOT a fault with the extension cord, it is the way my particular card reader works. I'll develop a workaround soon.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor issues
