Our German Shepherd puppy has been chewing on previous harnesses so we were hoping this one would help. Unfortunately, with a strong tug, the clip holding it together broke free and our pup was able to jump out of the car (luckily we were parked). I do not recommend this product for large dogs, even if it is a puppy.

I buckle up in the back of my MDX with the 3rd row seats folded. It goes well with the harness and is made of steel so the dog can't chew through it and won't break. It's short and the dog can't jump over the upholstery and ruin my new car. The dog is driving his favorite car and I don't scratch car seats!

In general it has turned out well, but it has not held up as well as we would like. We have a 4 month old husky who is a bit wild. Has been pulled a few times and has held up fairly well. Our last ride on the card was too much thrill and train to get to the window and the end ripped right out of the fitting. Luckily the door was closed and the windows were open so she couldn't get out.

I got this as a harness for my dog in the back seat as he likes to crawl forward and gets in the way of my driving. The ones I've had in the past, made of canvas or cloth, were immediately gnawed at by their sister dogs. A big coup, I tell you! 😁The one they can't chew is very convenient to use. Snaps onto a harness and hooks onto the back loop of your walking harness. Very satisfied with the product.

My dog has chewed through some regular dog harnesses so I decided to try this one. It looked like the perfect length, but the two buttons were very small and I worried about being strong enough to hold my 67 pound German Shepherd. I then tried this on my car and the seat belt clip did NOT work on my 2016 Honda CR-V. It looked almost the same as my previous seat belt clip but was slightly different and wouldn't snap into place. I was very disappointed. Back to find something that works.

I thought it would be great as it is made of a strong cable. It was easy to use and set up and held my 60# pup pretty well. But after the second use, the excited pup was able to pull on it so hard it broke very easily, and then he almost jumped out my car window to greet the vet. Yes he is a puppy but I was hoping this product would be strong and durable enough to keep him securely in one place but it broke after only two uses and one hard tug.
