💦 Graf Water Pump featuring a Durable Metal Impeller Review

The pump has run about 1000 miles, no problems, factory plastic pumps. I was only able to last about 18 months before the bearings started to fail. This pump is far superior to the uro brand, these pumps start knocking after about 25 miles. unbeatable for the price!

Mine was broken. I found out about it when I went on vacation to Atlantic City. After a few hours he left leaving us stranded. The bearing in it just jammed and ruined my vacation. But then again, how often does a car part have a good story because it's bad?

I prefer these metal blades to plastic blades. Plastic becomes brittle over time as hot coolant penetrates. Metal gives me a little more confidence. Installation is standard BMW, took about an hour from start to finish. Would do and buy again if given the chance, saved a ton of money making it myself.

After 3 months the pump is still working. I bought it for my '99 BMW 528i (e39). I replaced the pump along with the Sachs fan clutch, BMW fan blades and URO pulley. The installation took several hours. I highly recommend getting a 32mm wrench along with a fan clutch removal tool. Don't forget to bleed the system after filling the coolant; through vent screws.

One of the best quality water pumps I have ever bought for my car, I will definitely buy. I bought another water pump and didn't even put it in. The other didn't have a rubber O-ring and didn't look very good quality. This is very well built with metal parts (including the impeller) and a rubber O-ring. Looks better than the original BMW. I've had it in my car for 6 months now and it still works great.

So far so good. This is the only brand of water pumps that my local certified BMW shop uses in their customers' vehicles. It came with the O-ring already fitted. Got in easily, no leaks. Had a metal impeller but appears to be forged stainless steel (much better in terms of weight compared to aluminum impeller pumps I've seen. Less weight = less chance of bearing failure in the future). Can't match the price and first class delivery. Thanks!

My old water pump in my 1992 BMW 525i was leaking like a strainer.
