You have to use it right

It really is "lint free" if you use it right. I use it for my Shellac and I'll tell you how to use it correctly on Shellac so that you don't get any marks on the nail after the top coat. You need to put it on your nail and wait about 3 seconds for the alcohol to react with the top coat and then start wiping. One pad is enough for all 10 nails and 10 fingers.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Frequency

Slightly different from the nail pads in the store

I have compared these nail pads to the previous pack I bought from the cosmetics store (same brand) and they are different from the pads that i bought before . I think it's simply because they are a little thinner and a little more brittle and the material on the cotton side is a little cheaper compared to them. I'm not sure if the brand itself just changed the way the pads are softened a bit, but overall they work the same way.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

To remove nail polish, I just use a cotton pad.

Have been using them for years. My daughter bought them for me at the cosmetics store where she worked. I ordered them from Revain and they are exactly what I wanted. Good product.

Rough and poorly absorbing nail polish is smeared all over the body.

They are a lot smaller than I expected, they don't crack but the nail polish just sits on top and smears everywhere and your skin is painted the same color as your nails. I had to go with another sponge to clean my fingers and nails the rest of the way. They also feel pretty hard. It is especially painful to rub the nail near the cuticle. The only thing I like about them is that they have plastic at the bottom so you can clean your nails without ruining the manicure but it hurts my finger so I…

a little rough but works great

They are a little rougher than I expected but they don't hurt. They work as expected and come in very handy when I want to remove nail polish from just one nail or clean stamp plates without ruining already painted nails or leaving lint like cotton pads and balls usually do.

Pros
  • quality construction
Cons
  • nothing

Useful for home nail technicians

Purchased in 2018. I used to purchase a similar product from CVS but they have discontinued sales. What I use them for: I do my own manicures and pedicures. One of these allows me to soak it in nail polish remover and then use it, and the plastic layer protects my hand from nail polish remover. This will protect any nail polish on that hand or simply prevent the remover from getting onto your skin. It's great when I want to remove my nail polish but don't want to remove my nail polish. Or if I…

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability

  • Unreliable
