I used to buy this belt for my son. I was impressed with the quality and durability and when my son needed a larger size I went back to buy a larger size. When it arrived I was disappointed to see that it wasn't the same as what I had previously bought. Leather was much cheaper and almost as good as the first belt. Very disappointing.

This is the BEST belt I have ever bought for my child. I wanted real leather and this is a nice, thick, solid piece of leather. I ordered this last high school year (in dark brown) and sophomore it's still holding up well after wearing it 5 days a week. For those who have complained of skin discoloration, treat with a natural beeswax-based conditioner before wearing and then periodically as needed. Rarely do I find such a durable product. good leather belt. We bought it a little larger hoping it would last a few years. I believe if you keep it in good condition it will last for years. This is a genuine leather belt that is hard to find in stores.

Please note that this black color is no longer available in some sizes. Apparently true black is an "old design". I ordered a 23" and it arrived as expected, but it was too small for my daughter. When I ordered a replacement 25", it was a completely different color. It was marked as "black" on the website and on the packaging, but it was actually the mottled brown and black color that some of the website's images show.
