Never had a razor like this. Tired of disposable razors. picked it up. It's not easy to learn how to use it. Came out very sharp that I quickly ruined the edge. But hey, I figured out how to fix it. It holds an edge very well and I have become very proficient at using it. There is nothing wrong with the quality of this razor.

Inexpensive and very sharp. I used to use a more modern style but now when I use this old fashioned style razor I cut myself less often. Shaving with it requires 1000% concentration! Complete junk. The cutting edge deformed, rendering the razor completely unusable and dangerous. Aside from the razor arriving with no blade and taking too long to put on, I now get junk email about buying a razor. I wonder how it happened? See where it's made and who sells it.

Blade not sharp enough to cut hair. I've tried all the ways to prep the face with foams and creams. Blade out of the pack and tried shaving with similar motions to check if it just wasn't my technique that was rubbish and I was able to cut my hair with a razor blade. Another reviewer said he had the same problem and took it to the hairdresser. and they said the blade was garbage. I also plan to go to the hairdresser to get her opinion.

Decent blade, good looking, regular sling, nice wooden handle. The ONLY problem is that the blade isn't sharp enough to shave with. Buy a whetstone and be prepared to spend some time sharpening it (or take it somewhere and pay for it). This seems to be a recurring theme in Straight Razors on Revain.
