This is a beautiful shelf (I buy the black shelf version) that hardly wobbles once assembled. Assembly.good.long! My total assembly time was about an hour. This was possibly made worse by the fact that I bought two of these. I do like the end product though. As mentioned before, it will wobble a bit after assembly. Beware of this item There are many false reports about how great it is and how easy it is to assemble. I rarely leave a bad review but this experience was too bad to leave. Neat piece. The assembly instructions are clear enough and easy enough to do yourself. But the build quality is a bit disappointing. It's solid once assembled, but if you put a load on it (e.g. 30 pounds) and then try to slide it across the carpet to adjust its position in space, the joints where the bolts go into the pre-assembled nuts will become loose be screwed, installed.
