Just a piece of advice. for electric drill parts and accessories

You need to make sure that the friction clutch is installed somewhere in the lower half, otherwise the drill is easy to break. The screws wobble even when drilling at right angles in the hole. I've used up to 1/4 aluminum and 1/8 stainless steel. It dulls easily when used in lots of stainless steel, but doesn't dull at all in aluminum. I always use some kind of lube/liquid for tapping. Great time saver and great quality.

Decent drill and tap bit, but be careful

This combo drill and tap bit got the job done in mild steel electrical boxes, but be careful as sometimes part of the steel box fused into one part appears to be the tap and it is very difficult to remove this piece of steel. We also tried line oil and that didn't help much, but the problem persisted. This could happen with any tap, but we used it because it was easy to drill a pilot hole and tap a thread in the same operation.

Good product! fits electric drill parts and accessories

I bought this to replace a broken one in my kit. I use them often and know both the limitations and the strengths, but I lent them to another technician and even warned him that the hardened steel is quite brittle and he was still careless and broke the drill bit. I've used it probably 100 times with no problems but it broke it within a minute. Lesson learned, don't borrow the tools! They work great as long as care is taken. You drill, cut and clean the hole in one operation. What a time saver!
