Working well good for me

Added these to a new substrate chance and they are rooting well now a month in. No real growth lateral but that is expected from this species at this point. The plants came in fast and we’re in good condition, upon planting I had no issues with melting or oddities with adaptation process to an active tank.

Pros
  • Helps to reduce stress levels in fish
Cons
  • Can require a lot of maintenance equipment

Easy to Grow good for me

Bought this for my 55 gallon aquarium and it since has grown and spread out in the substrate, easy to grow no co2, came in healthy, takes a while for it to root and take off, if it withering don’t worry it’s normal

Pros
  • Highly adaptable plant
Cons
  • Can compete with other plants for nutrients

Thick and healthy - my new review

Got here really quick and was in great condition! Yeah it comes in a slightly small container, but it surprisingly goes a long way.

Pros
  • like how green it was. for my dart frogs.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to transport

Overall looks good!

It came pretty dense, with some melt on the sides which was expected. And it came 2 days early which was cool! I still kept the culture under a grow light for a day before planting since I didn’t have my tweezers so I could put it into the substrate instead of gluing it to a rock. Overall looks good!

Pros
  • Wonderful aquarium plant! Growing so well after four weeks that I need to trim them back a bit.
Cons
  • Not suitable for extremely low light aquariums

So far so good. good for me

Arrived healthy and started throwing roots and new leaves within a couple of days. I have a new unbalanced aquascape and this plant is doing well so far.

Pros
  • Provides a safe, natural habitat for your fish
Cons
  • Can produce excessive waste during pruning

Not Monte Carlo. good for me

Not Monte Carlo. I got what I’m pretty sure is dwarf grass instead. I did get a lot of it and it looks healthy, so I’m planning on planting it anyway since I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it. However it’s just kind of annoying to get something else when I spent a decent chunk of my time deciding on what plant to carpet.

Pros
  • Provides natural water filtration
Cons
  • Can be time-consuming to care for

Fresh plants, fast shipping

These were so good looking I bought a second cup. I'll come back in a few months when the carpeting presentable and post a picture. Thanks!

Pros
  • Can be used in a variety of aquarium setups
Cons
  • May not meet expectations

Easy Transition in my review

So far so good. Has been a couple days. I was hesitant reading some reviews stating their monte Carlos "melted” after placing them in their aquariums. This has not been the case for me. They have actually grown a bit in this time and have responded very well to my laterite substrate and my T8 grow light fixture.

Pros
  • The package arrived on time, and the plant looks very healthy.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain types of filtration

Arrived healthy, died after planting

What a frustrating experience - these plants came just as pictured, vibrant and healthy. I planted them in a planted aquarium with expensive Aqua Soil and strong lighting and they all just withered and died. I was hoping for a lush carpet but these must be very hard to grow. All other plants are doing well. They did have small roots when the clump was divided, but this process is a painstaking process since they are all entangled and very delicate. Planted in clumps using long tweezers in the…

Pros
  • Greenpro Micranthemum Monte Carlo is a high-quality, sustainable plant choice for any freshwater aquarium
Cons
  • May not be easily available in certain regions

Plants arrived dead and withered

I was very excited to receive this monte carlo today, only to be incredibly disappointed. When I opened up the package, I saw this weird dead looking mush. I quickly brought the product in once it arrived as well, so it can't be because it was baking outside for hours.

Pros
  • Creates a natural ecosystem for your fish
Cons
  • May not be suitable for aquascaping

Not Well Packaged for my opinion

I ordered 2 tissue cultures from GreenPro, the Micranthemum Monte Carlo and Baby Dwarf Tears. As I was opening the box, I noticed it felt like my shirt was getting slightly wet. I looked at the box and one corner seemed to have water damage. When I opened the box, the instructions included were partially wet along with the inside of the bag. The two plastic containers of tissue culture were inside a plastic bag. One tissue culture, while still green, appeared mushy and the other appeared dry…

Pros
  • Low-maintenance plant
Cons
  • May cause nutrient imbalances in the tank

Looked just like the picture!

Nice quantity of green, healthy plants with roots. When planted and placed under a grow light they released some lovely bubbles! So far (3 days later) no yellowing or die off in my flooded tank. I can't imagine planting this successfully in an established tank. So tiny & delicate!

Pros
  • These baby Monte Carlo are very healthy and really easy to go
Cons
  • May be susceptible to snail infestations

These are quite fussy to plant so make sure you do a little research. You get quite a lot in your order and I personally thing they are amazing. So far no plant die off even with little to no C02. Though I do plan and would recommend at least a DIY co2 for these to truly flourish.

Pros
  • Provides a great hiding place for fish
Cons
  • Can be sensitive to water hardness

Healthy Monte Carlo.

Perfect just as described, showed up nice and healthy hope it turns into a great carpet plant.Edit: not really adapting well to my water but can’t blame the plants - ph 7.4 - water is decently hard.

Pros
  • 3 weeks later still looking good in tank.
Cons
  • Not as much as the picture shows you get but it was in good shape when it arrived.

Maybe I did something wrong?

The plants looked fine when they arrived. I planted them very carefully. It's been over a month and I have only a few that are left. I have a Fluval light, so I know my lighting is good. I did not have fish in the tank until a week ago, so I know the plants had every chance at getting a good start. Disappointed in the plant.

Pros
  • Helps to oxygenate your tank
Cons
  • Can require a lot of trial and error to get it right

Came healthy, Not an easy plant to grow

The plant itself came healthy after several days in transit despite 100+ degree weather. Even though i let it sit several days before planting it was still in top shape. However a WARNING this is NOT an easy plant to grow. It requires high lighting and good substrate. Do your research before you waste your money. My plant died in less then 4 days due to poor lighting.

Pros
  • Great for nano tanks
Cons
  • May require additional lighting

Plants delayed but still alive

Plants were delayed by a day due to a minor construction job blocking my cul-de-sac. They arrived green, vibrant and alive. When I do another planted tank, I will definitely be buying more from this seller.

Pros
  • Increases overall aesthetic of your aquarium
Cons
  • May require a lot of patience and persistence

Dead in 6 days in my review

Completely feel apart trying to separate it into just a couple parts. Impossible to plant (planted in this new tank with just the ADA Advanced soil being wet. ) portions were all small but I guess that's how plants are sold. Will not order again.

Pros
  • Can be easily propagated
Cons
  • Can be hard to manage in a heavily stocked tank

The plant comes in great condition. I have incredibly strong light, co2 and I have tried this plant in multiple aquariums/depths. This plant does much better in moist environments than underwater in my experience

Pros
  • Arrived just as pictured, very green and healthy. Separated into nice even pieces when rinsed.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to locate a supplier
