Good solid construction with plenty of storage space. Even after filling with three liters of water, there is enough storage space for a long day of hiking. Love it and for longer night hikes you need a bigger Gregory pack. Good value for money!

Hiking has gotten carried away lately. Didn't know too much about choosing a good backpack. Except for when I was in the army a few decades ago. I was looking for something light, lots of pockets, a hydraulic tank and something that could distribute the weight properly. Gregory is a good choice! For me I would use this for longer day hikes. I bought this Nano Hydro 22 for shorter day trips. I love this brand!

so i've used it a few times and i have to say for a complete backpacking/hiker this pack ticks all the boxes. It's comfortable, with numerous adjustment straps. The pockets are well thought out (I have a men's Citro 36 and my wife has a women's Juno 30. This backpack deserves 5 stars for its comfort and lightness. Great for long day hikes or maybe an overnight stay if you can pack a light weight (I can't!). I prefer functionality over looks, and this pack works when you need it. Took this with me on an 8 mile hike across wide open fields; Direct 90 degree heat wasn't a problem with plenty of water (3 liter tank) and quick access to my goggles! Bought for 14 (or two) and small hikes at the end of September. It's too big for a 14, but I also wanted something more forward-thinking that I could take with me on other hikes, camping, or flights (its dimensions are close enough to make up for that). To be honest, the physical dimensions of a 36L backpack aren't much larger than a 24L backpack, so keep that in mind when weighing your options.
