Good indicator lights to let me know my mail has arrived.

I bought these bulbs because I wanted to use a low brightness bulb as a status indicator. I have a magnetic contact sensor on my mailbox and when the door is opened several of the lights I have around the house come on. They are housed in small chrome table lamps. I also use one of these bulbs in my bedside lamp. The low color temperature emits a pleasant yellowish light. As soon as I saw them I knew this was the lightbulb I wanted to use. I'm not disappointed.

Perfect Soft Amber Glow

So I installed 6 new open base ceiling lights and wanted the bulbs to give off a soft, warm glow without attracting as many insects and not shining too brightly directly down. You were perfect. The lamps are nice and small, which centers them in the fixture. Edison's design also makes them an attractive addition to fixtures. My house is white with blue ceilings and a red door. Ideal, more is not required

You have replaced two 5w incandescent bulbs in two crystal lamps on my parents mantel. "10W Equivalent" seems correct. Not too bright but subtle enough to light up the room even with extra lighting compared to the original 5W incandescent bulbs. They look a little lighter than in my photo, although the heat also makes them look thin. Not "harsh" like colder light can be. Really nice very warm little LED lightbulb!

I tried 6 different types of very warm LED bulbs of different shapes that I bought from Revain. I rated at least two bulbs of each type. All species are decent, although some stand out differently. I'm looking for a small LED filament bulb that gives off a slightly pinkish hue (i.e. yellow-green range) compared to an incandescent bulb dimmed to the same color temperature.
